Federal Prosecutors Consider Search Warrants for Giuliani's Emails. Barr Soon Won't Be Able To Help

We have known for several months that federal prosecutors from the Southern District of New York have been criminally investigating Rudy Giuliani. Those same prosecutors have already indicted Giuliani's business partner/associates Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman.

New reporting disclosed that SDNY prosecutors have been talking with the "higher-ups" at "Main Justice" in DC, seeking authorization to apply for a search warrant for Giuliani's electronic communications. What we don't know is what roll Bill Barr played in the decisions surrounding those requested search warrants, which, as far as we know, have not been issued. What we do know is the Bill Barr won't be around to protect Rudy much longer.
