Adoptee's Response to Stauffer Parents Abandoning Their Autistic Adopted Child

I'm horrified, angry, saddened, but not surprised by this story. In this video I wanted to touch on my insights as an adoptee to really paint the picture why what the Stauffer parents did to Huxley was so monumentally damaging to his emotional growth and safety.

I hope you can watch this video with empathy and understanding that this case is not only heartbreaking, but extremely triggering for adoptees. (As well as autistic people!)

Sometimes adoptions don't work out, but NEVER should a child be bonded to a family for three years to be tossed aside after exploiting him for money and views, only to celebrate with a vacation to Bali. These people need to finally feel a bit of reality in their lives, for their own sake and the sake of their children.

As for Huxley, I only wish he could feel and understand how many people are mourning with him and care about his well-being.
