PVHMC Receives Funding for Trauma Prevention Initiative
In May 2022, Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center received a $150,000 grant to enable the hospital to provide 24/7 response for assault related recovery services for victims of violence. The funding was announced at a press conference held at the hospital by Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, and its violence prevention partner, Southern California Crossroads. Univision 34 Los Angeles was there to cover the story.
