Andi Eigenmann, actress, island mama of three, beach lover and sustainable lifestyle advocate is an Oceana Wavemaker fighting with us for a #PlasticFreeOcean. Her video was recorded before #TyphoonOdette ravaged the country including her beloved Siargao Island. Located in Surigao Del Norte with billions in damages, NOW is the time to change our mindsets: This plastic pollution crisis not only overwhelms our ocean, but also is among the many culprits of #ClimateChange that drive these strong typhoons, storm surges, and extreme weather events.
