Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1000T | Full Alert | Moore, OK | 5/9/26

I FINALLY got the chance to hear a Thunderbolt IRL! I took a day trip up to Oklahoma with friends @Skatepunklion and @SkyArrowOryks for this test, along with seeing other Moore sirens then heading to the Twistex Memorial near El Reno after, which I hadn't been to yet.

This was an absolutely incredible test and easily the loudest siren I've heard, including a P50. We picked this Bolt since it came from Richardson, Tx before being refurbished, which is near where I live, so its super cool to see it taken and put back into service.

Moore, Oklahoma, like much of the OKC metro, tests every Saturday at noon, with cancels for severe weather in the forecast. DFW Tx could learn a thing or 2.

I also felt it was fitting to upload on the 13th anniversary of the May 20, 2013 Moore, OK EF-5 tornado.
