Android App: Demonstrating a Sensor -- Accelerometer

In this video we look at an Android App that displays the readings from the phone's Accelerometer sensor. An app with a sensor requires that we code methods other than just onCreate, thus we used the keyword lateinit so we could declare several objects at the class level without initializing them on the same line but waiting until later in the onCreate method. We showed how to work with the SensorManager. We showed on the emulator how to change the phone's orientation and saw its effect on the sensor readout.
