This bed, which is right in between a queen and king size, is anything but in a permanent, fixed position. The platform is mounted on 4 hydraulic tubes that give you the ability to move the bed up and down depending on your needs. If you want more space on the bed, lower it in seconds. If you want more space underneath the bed for gear, just raise it! And if you don't want the platform in at all, simply remove the 4 bolts and take the platform out completely.
