Some of the 'biggest moralists' are actually 'the biggest bullies': Bolt
Sky News host Andrew Bolt says "it's struck me often" that some of the biggest moralists are actually some of the "biggest bullies".
Buckingham Palace's HR team will investigate the allegations of bullying against Meghan Markle following a bombshell story recently published.
The Times of London revealed Meghan had been the subject of an official bullying complaint in October of 2018, which accused her of mistreating her staff members.
“We are clearly very concerned about allegations in The Times following claims made by former staff of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” the Palace said.
“Accordingly our HR team will look into the circumstances outlined in the article. Members of staff involved at the time, including those who have left the household, will be invited to participate to see if lessons can be learned.
“The royal household has had a dignity at work policy in place for a number of years and does not and will not tolerate bullying or harassment in the workplace.”
The Sussexes’ lawyers responded to the accusations and said it was “being used by Buckingham Palace to peddle a wholly false narrative”.
Mr Bolt spoke about the bullying claims with NSW One Nation Leader Mark Latham.
"The palace is saying things similar to her own family, from which she's estranged," Mr Latham said.
"So that indicates some kind of difficulty there," he said.
