Caracas Metro 1987 Photos

Some Kodachrome 64 and 200 slides I took of the new yard for the SECOND line, right before it opened.

Correction: R46 816 (not 1216), despite what wikipedia says, was sent direct from Pullman to Caracas for public inspection. According to Headlights News Journal (ERAUSA.ORG) Pullman wanted to recover development and tooling costs for the R-46 by selling additional units to other cities. So 816 was offered to Caracas in the hope of receiving an order.
