Continuing on my mini-series on Procedural Modeling in Houdini, we're making Christmas Trees! This will involve the L-System in Houdini to create the basic structure of the tree, and some manual width attributes that get created to drive the polywire will create the main geometry of the tree for rendering. I manually control the width of the polywire and I avoid using the tube option in the L-System because I wanted more control. Most of the tree work goes into the L-System.
