She was adopted, then given back 🐾💔

We don’t know her full story…
but we know enough.

She had a home once.
And somehow… ended up back at the shelter.

A volunteer told us she was sweet,
just too scared to come up to anyone.

We brought Duke to meet her…
and they chose each other instantly.

She wouldn’t come near me at first.
It took weeks.

Now she follows me everywhere.
Sleeps next to me.
Trusts me.

But we’re still working through the hard parts…
new people, new places, new experiences.

She’s not “fully there” yet.

But she’s trying, every single day

This is a new beginning for her…❤️
