We’ve made it to Queenstown — one of New Zealand’s most iconic destinations, often called the “adventure capital of the world.” 🇳🇿

Tucked between Lake Wakatipu and the towering Remarkables mountain range, this charming alpine town instantly stole our hearts — rain and all.

We checked into the stunning Kamana Lakehouse, and thanks to a complimentary upgrade, we were treated to one of the best views we've ever had. Panoramic scenes of the lake and mountains right from our window — the kind of view you could lose hours in. And when the sun sets over that backdrop? Unforgettable.

Despite the wet weather, Queenstown's magic still shined through. We took the Skyline gondola up the hill for misty views over the town and lake, then continued our Lord of the Rings journey, tracking down more filming locations nestled in the hills and valleys surrounding the area.
And to cap it all off? A soak in the private hot tubs at Kamana Lakehouse, looking out over Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables — the perfect way to end a day of exploring Middle-earth.
