Feeding the White Lions at Lion & Safari Park - Johannesburg

One of the most exciting jobs during my 2 weeks volunteership at the Lion & Safari Park near Johannesburg, South Africa, was to drive out to the enclosures of our oldest lions, where we took care of them by cleaning their enclosures and feeding them. Among the residents was 18 years old Letsatsi, famous star of the 2010 movie "White Lion", which was shot right here on property of the Lion & Safari Park. I'll certainly never forget the earth-shattering sounds of a few growling, hungry, fully-grown white lions as they were expecting their meal!
