Radar: Weather Watch Alert issued due to strong afternoon storms
We're monitoring strong storms again this afternoon and evening. Storms today will produce locally heavy rain and briefly gusty wind, isolated severe storms cannot be ruled out. The greatest concern in storms that become severe would be damaging wind and small hail.
We have issued another Weather Watch Alert for storms Friday p.m. Showers and storms will develop after 1 p.m. or so and continue until 11 p.m. or so.
A Flood Watch has been issued for the entire DMV until 11 p.m. ahead of the potential for pockets of flash flooding.
