The sat nav clearly says, “After 300 yards… after 200 yards… turn right at the roundabout.” The instruction is correct. However, before reaching the roundabout, there are two left bends and a side road on the right.

The learner mistakes that side road for the roundabout and begins to turn too early.

This video explains why it’s important to understand distance instructions properly and not react too soon. Always match the sat nav instruction with what you physically see on the road.

Further ahead, the road becomes slightly uphill and narrow, with a wall on the left. Many learners look too far ahead and unintentionally drift too close to the wall. Good steering control and road positioning are essential here.
