Module 6 Lesson 3. Microsoft PowerPoint Basics

Microsoft PowerPoint is the standard tool for presentations — sets of slides used to share ideas in meetings, classrooms, and interviews.

The Basics
Slide — one screen of content.
Slide thumbnails — small previews down the left side.
Outline view — see all your slide text at once.
Slide Show (F5) — full-screen presentation mode.
Building a Slide
Use the title for the main point.
Add bullets for supporting points — keep them short.
Insert → Picture / Icon / Shape / Table.
Design tab — apply a theme so your slides look consistent.
Presentation Tips
One idea per slide. Don't crowd.
6 lines × 6 words is a rough ceiling for bullets.
Big text (24pt+) so the back of the room can read it.
Talk to your audience, not your slides.

Create a three-slide presentation titled "My Digital Skills Journey":

Slide 1 — your name and the title.
Slide 2 — three skills you've learned so far.
Slide 3 — three skills you want to learn next.
