Today Tutorial Tuesday is explaining how to properly prep my Signature Hard Wax.
First Step is pouring the wax into your wax warmer. It doesn't matter what kind of wax warmer you use, any warmer will work. Fill the wax warmer almost to the top, not completely to the rim but to the top. Turn the wax warmer up to it's highest settings and let the wax melt down to it is completely melted. Usually takes about 30-45min
After it is melted, turn the wax warmer down to about 60-70C. This is different for every warmer. Every warmer heats differently. You will have to play around with your warmer and find the right consistency.
Once you find the right consistency ALWAYS test the wax on yourself. Do a test strip on the bottom of your wrist (like mother's test baby milk) You don't want to burn your clients or yourself.
You should be able to balance your wax on your stick, it shouldn't fall off your stick. If you hold your stick up for about 2 seconds the wax should stay on the stick, if it falls it's too hot!
If you follow these instructions you should be ok, to use the wax.
