Optimize images with alt text attributes #shorts.

On a very basic level, image alt text was originally created to help people better understand what an image is depicting.

Search engines also use it to better understand your page’s content.

So optimize it, too!

Again, this isn’t new. Most marketers and writers know they should be doing this stuff.

The problem is that they aren’t doing it consistently enough.

**ABOUT US:
Codeless is a content production company that’s part publisher, part marketing agency. We produce hundreds of long-form articles and videos each month for some of the biggest SaaS, service, and affiliate brands in the most competitive spaces on the Internet. We also build, buy, and grow our own, too.

**DISCLOSURE:
We might earn a small commission if you purchase one of the products we review and recommend here. It doesn't cost you anything? In fact, you might even get a discount compared to the normal full-price offer on their website. We use these commissions to help fund the time, research, staff, editing, and more that it takes to perform these reviews. Unlike many other websites out there, we sign up, conduct a hands-on test, and actually pay for a lot of these tools out of our own pocket. That way, you’ll get a real, unfiltered opinion. We don’t accept any money from these companies to review their products, and we don’t ask for free access, either. Our reviews are unbiased.
