From Grime To Shine Learn How To Clean Your Amp | #amp #amplifier #amplife #silvertone #guitarcare
Have you ever buffed your amps hard wear?
How to buff your amps hardwear
Materials
-Turtle wax rubbing compound
-A dremel
-Water
-Q-tips
-Paper Towels
Step 1: find an inconspicuous spot on your amp or hardware that you would like to buff, use a Q-tip dipped in turtle wax and work in circular motions until you see the metal begin to shine.
Step 2: inspect the test area to make sure you do not see any type of reaction with the turtle wax, such as a change in the overall color of the metal.
Step 3: if graphics are present, use a Q-tip with a little bit of turtle wax and very gently go over the graphics to see if there is any type of reaction. If there is no reaction, then you can continue to step four, if there is a reaction, you will want to remove the turtle wax with soapy water and not continue the cleaning process.
Step 4: using a Dremel with a buffing wheel attachment, place a small amount of turtle wax on the inconspicuous test spot, turn your Dremel on to the lowest speed setting and gently begin to buff the test area, you will want to monitor the test area closely, if you see any color change in the metal stop immediately as your hardware may be coded and cannot withstand the heat of a Dremel, if this happens, you will want to use turtle wax and a cotton rag and hand buff your hardware instead. If no reaction is present, you can slowly increase the speed of your Dremel to gage how the finish reacts to heat.
Step 5: once you feel confident that the Dremel and the turtle wax is not going to cause damage to the metal or graphics, you can coat the hardware in a liberal amount of turtle wax and turn your Dremel to a low speed setting and begin to buff your hardware, you will want to repeat this process again, for a total of two times. once finished you can use a damp paper towel to wipe off any residual turtle wax.

My voice: I get lots of comments asking why my voice sounds the way it dose, I have a medical condition called GERDS, this condition mainly affects my resting/speaking voice causing it to sound slightly raspy!
