Testing the New Eaton Cummins Endurant XD Pro!!! Trip to the Marshall Proving Grounds!

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching. In this first in a series of videos, Ethan and I were invited by Eaton Cummins to test out their new Endurant XD Pro 18 speed automated transmission at their proving grounds in Marshall, Michigan. This was a joint effort with Miller Industries out of Chattanooga, TN, and Roberts Heavy Duty Towing, Inc., out of Lexington, KY. We definitely put this automated transmission through some difficult tasks. We used Roberts Peterbilt with a Miller Industries Century 5130 to tow a loaded dump truck on several section of the test track, including driving over a 15% grade!!! Not just that, but also backing up that same 15% grade!!! I was highly sceptical, but, after testing this transmission, I absolutely LOVE this thing. Good Lord willing, when we order a new heavy towing unit, we WILL outfit it with this transmission. More videos of our time at the track to come. Stay tuned!!! I hope you all enjoy this video!!!
