Scratch Built F-27 Stryker

This is my scratch built F-27 Stryker, a copy of one of the first planes I ever flew.
This is an on board view and one of my first vids.
After trying to fly the skyfun, it just never matched up to the F-27.
I used Knauf insulation foam from Bunnings and measured out the dimensions of the Stryker, extending the wing tips by an inch each. This is to better counter torque roll from the 400 watt motor. I also made the full body length fuse for future upgrades if wanted. Once drawn out, I hot wired the foam squares to taper the thickness. 25mm inboard to 13mm at the wingtip. Then a lot of sanding to get the aerofoil. 4 carbon rods for extra srength, 2 across the fuse and one in each wing. This is in case I want to up the power later. Covered in HK wing tape to give strength. Total cost to ARF stage is under $20 AU.
This plane is every bit as good as the original plane I had back in the day, although it is slightly heavier.
Running 2836-1700kv motor, 7x5 apc, 2200mAh 3S 40c battery, esc 40 amp (upgrading to 50 as comes down a little hot)
