2008 Chevrolet Silverado 4.3L v6 motor. Heater core inlet & outlet hose blew off and broke the connectors. At first I purchased 2 new connectors and put it back together, and they would not click into the metal outlets because the old metal was locking ring was worn down. (Truck has 350k miles!) I went ahead and just bypassed the connectors by clamping the two hoses straight onto the metal outlets. This worked out well and saves you money too! Currently we put 10k miles on the truck with the newly bypassed hoses and have 0 leaks & the truck is running perfect! I hope this helps and saves you the frustration! Thank you!
