I had no idea crows did this! Caught it on my wildlife camera! 🐦‍⬛

I set up my wildlife camera to find out what was making such a mess of my bird bath, and the answer completely surprised me! 🐦‍⬛
Turns out a family of crows moved into my area this year and claimed my bird bath as their own. Watching the trail cam footage up close was fascinating! Crows actually dunk and soak their food in water to soften it before eating! It's such a cool example of crow intelligence in action.
This is exactly what a permaculture garden is designed to do: support the whole local ecosystem. 🌿 The crows weren't the only visitors either! I also spotted deer, a red cardinal, a mockingbird, and what I think are house finches on the wildlife camera.
I will absolutely be keeping those bird baths full for my crowverlords. 👑😂
