Former North Carolina Governor made his first television interview since announcing his run for Senate telling Rachel Maddow that fighting for the middle class was his motivation to put his hat in the ring.
"There are so many bad things coming out of Washington that hurt the middle class and people who are trying and dreaming of being in the middle class," he said.
