Abrahamson Scherzo op.6 - Esther Jeehae Ahn

Pianist Esther Jeehae Ahn performed my Scherzo op.6 which was selected as part of Next Ensemble’s NYNM composition competition. She played the A section so fiery and with lightning speed but what truly impressed me was her interpretation of the B section - with a mastery of dynamics and phrasing she created a space that was hers and hers only.
