This is the final night in Dublin and was originally intended to be the last of the tour, but the cancelled Amsterdam shows led to four other shows to be scheduled. This also happens to be one of the most iconic and most bootlegged shows in U2's live history, to the point where it got an official release in 2004. Normally I wouldn't upload official releases but this was only apart of a boxset and isn't anywhere near as widely distributed as other official releases like Zoo TV Sydney or Under a Blood Red Sky. The performance here is really great, while I do think it's a little overrated I can't deny it's still a fantastic listen despite a few mistakes and Bono still not really being 100% vocally. Our setlist shakeups tonight are the third and final performance of Party Girl on Lovetown, and it's only in Europe. Bono also does a short improvised acapella of Bob Dylan's The Times, They Are A-Changin' which is a minor but fun addition. Other things to note is that the clock strikes midnight during Where the Streets Have No Name, meaning this show is technically on two dates, and a speech at the beginning of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For contains a quote which would eventually be reused for the lyrics in Zooropa. With all that in mind, this show is an absolute essential for anybody, so make sure to give this one a listen.
