Set in a stylized, parallel version of 1930s New York City, Spider-Noir follows Ben Reilly (played by Nicolas Cage), a grizzled, down-on-his-luck private investigator dealing with past wartime trauma and the tragic loss of his love, Ruby. Five years after hanging up his mask as the city's lone superhero, "The Spider," Reilly is drawn back into the shadows when a routine investigation entangles him with a dangerous mob kingpin named Silvermane, an elusive lounge singer named Cat Hardy, and a group of underground criminals manifesting strange, science-fueled superpowers.
