Open XEX XBOX 360 Executable Files With Ghidra

This is for Windows OS but surely you can get Ghidra running with the plugin
on Mac or Linux with a bit of patience and effort : )

To Extract the X360 ISO

After extracting you should have a directory with an .xex file to work with.

Ghidra 12.0

You need at least Ghidra 12.0 to run this plugin

JDK 21
===========================================================================

Ghidra 12.0 Uses JDK 21. When you first run ghidra.bat (in Windows) if it
does not find JDK 21 it will ask you to manually paste the directory. You
should paste inside the jdk-21.x.x folder's address.

XEX Tool
===========================================================================

XEX Tool can be used to Unencrypt an XEX file if necessary
unencrypt command to use - "xextool -u default.xex"

This command can be used to keep the original xex as well to be more safe -
"xextool -u default.xex -o default_decrypted.xex"
the -o makes an output file so you can keep both files.

To load the plugin in Ghidra - Go to File → Install Extension → Add (it
will be a green plus or cross looking button near the top right) →
Select the zip file you downloaded from the link. Then restart Ghidra
(It should tell you it needs to).
Please enjoy XBOX 360 reversing. I don't know PowerPC so hopefully many
people are interested.
