Hegseth at Normandy HONORS WWII HEROES then FIRES a WARNING SHOT at Europe over MIGRATION

Pete Hegseth traveled to Colleville-sur-Mer in France to mark the 82nd anniversary of D-Day at the Normandy American Cemetery — and used the occasion to deliver a warning that went far beyond commemoration.

Standing on the ground where more than 150,000 Allied soldiers landed to drive out Hitler's forces, Hegseth drew a direct line between the sacrifice of that generation and the threats he sees facing Europe today. "Different European beaches are stormed by different dangerous ideologies," he said — a pointed reference to migration and what he described as threats to the values those soldiers died defending. He called for stronger alliances and for nations to stand "shoulder to shoulder" to defend freedom. A speech that honored the past and challenged the present in equal measure.
