(BREAKING NEWS! $2000 & $1200 CHECKS!?!) SECOND STIMULUS CHECK UPDATE & STIMULUS PACKAGE 12/18/2020

So today is the official deadline! Congress has to get the government spending bill and the stimulus package out today. Included in that stimulus package will be another round of stimulus checks, will it be $2,000, $1,200, or $600 or nothing! Also if they don’t get this done today we will see one of two things: a stopgap funding bill OR a government shut down! So where do things stand with the package and the check?....

Today Senator Josh Hawley presented his bill of $1,200 stimulus checks on the senate floor. It was not supported.

Stimulus checks. Trump wants $2000 but white house officials intervened and requested he not make a statement as he planned to do yesterday, as it could “blow up” negotiations.

Leaving it very likely in my mind that $600 stimulus checks will be approved.
