How To Import KMZ Into Civil 3D?

2. Initiate Civil 3D Import - Set your drawing's coordinate system before starting any import process, Type the MAPIMPORT command into the command line to begin importing, In the dialog box, select the Google KML file type.
3. Configure Import Settings - Verify the coordinate system to ensure correct geographic data transformation, Click the data column to access and create new object data tables, Select the specific attribute fields from the KML you want to import.
4. Finalize The Data Import - Choose to import any polygon data as closed polylines for editing, Click the OK button to execute the command and process the file, Verify your newly imported geometry is correctly placed in model space.
