Liberal bigotry causes CPS failures & soaring crime?

Oct 6, 2023: This week’s “Public Affairs” features show host Jeff Berkowitz interviewing P Rea, a WVON AM Radio hostess, literacy consultant, and a Black conservative emerging GOP Leader. The discussion centers on what has been and is largely causing the major problems (1) of decades long CPS and public education failures around IL and (2) soaring crimes in Chicago and Cook County, off and on, for decades.

P Rae emphasizes how much the soft bigotry of low expectations practiced by the Chicago Teachers Union (“CTU”) has prevented Negroes, Blacks and Hispanics from learning how to read. These low expectations were reinforced and made worse by the terrible and horrific George Floyd event.

Think tank Wirepoints reports only 17% of CPS Blacks and 22% of CPS Hispanics currently read at grade level. P Rae, herself an accomplished Negro literacy consultant, shows what a CPS graduate can do with the right expectations (from her parents) as opposed to the wrong brand being foisted on CPS teachers and students by the misguided CTU Leadership (of which Mayor Johnon was a CTU Organizer for 17 years).
The main practitioners in Chicago and IL politics of the soft bigotry of low expectations have been progressives and liberals like Gov Pritzker, Speaker Welch, Chief Judge Evans, Cook County President Preckwinkle, State’s Attorney Foxx, former Chicago Mayor Lightfoot, current Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, and the Leadership of the CTU.

Similarly, the strong tendency by liberal and progressive Soros social justice prosecutors like Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx and Cook County Chief Judge Tim Evans (Foxx was brought to us by Cook County Board President Preckwinkle) not to hold career criminals accountable for their violent crimes, says P Rae, have dramatically increased crime in Chicago and Cook County over the last five, and even ten, years.
Failure to prosecute violent criminals and lenient pre-trial detention, followed by lenient sentences and parole, even when violent career criminals were prosecuted and convicted, have also contributed greatly to Chicago’s and Cook County’s soaring violent crimes.
A reversal of the above liberal and so called “Progressive” academic and criminal justice public policies would dramatically help the performance, public safety and well-being of Negroes, Blacks, Hispanics and Whites in Chicago and Cook County, says WVON AM radio hostess (Black Excellence Hour) and emerging GOP Negro conservative leader P Rae.
Look for “Liberal and Progressive,” new host on WVON Tavis Smiley and conservative emerging Negro and Black GOP Leader P Rae to engage in frequent and extremely healthy public debates on the above-referenced issues on WVON (the Voice of the Negro and Nation), going forward.
