The Sportster Lives!

First engine start after a bunch of modifications. The A123 battery has been sitting since October (for over 3 months). I haven't touched it or trickle charged it one bit. The pack still had enough juice to crank the bike for about 30 seconds (getting fuel back into a dry system). It fired right up and ran like a top!

All of the custom work you see on this bike was done by me in my garage, including the pipes, seat, rear fender, coil relocation, lighting mods, and even the color (the tank and fender are powder coated). The Hypercharger will probably soon give way to a round A/C. I still have a bit of work to do on the front end. I'm contemplating a custom oil tank as well.
