The Ladies Club IPELENG NYATLO & MODIEGI MOKOKA

To share their amazing stories two Basketball players IPELENG NYATLO and MODIEGI MOKOKA join Vaylen Kirtley in The Ladies Club studio. Ipeleng started playing basketball when she was just 12 years-old, while growing up in Phokeng, Rustenburg. At first she played basketball for fun- during athletics off-season, but eventually she improved and fell in love with the sport. Today, she’s making waves as one of South Africa's leading women basketball players, representing the country in various competitions. Basketball player and administrator MODIEGI MOKOKA was introduced to basketball whilst at Pretoria Girls High– at that time she was playing tennis in grade 8 when one of the matric students lured her to basketball. She is a recipient of the national All Star award, having claimed the prized accolade on three occasions between 2015 and 2017.
