The terminating point for trains from Greater Manchester into the picturesque Ribble Valley is Clitheroe where the trains turn back. The turn back point is Horrocksford Junction where after passengers alight at Clitheroe the train performs a shunt move to come into the station onto the opposite platform. If you want to go east of Clitheroe towards Hellifield the Sunday only Dales Rail Service is the only passenger trains to use the Clitheroe to Hellifield route. #northernrail #class156
