240BPM Gaze Stability VOR Training with POV Walking In Shopping Center/Store

This video is for gaze stabilization, which improves the vestibular ocular reflex. This reflex is impaired in the majority of people that are struggling with dizziness. To perform this exercise, keep your eyes focused on the X while you turn your head left and right to the beat of the metronome. Your head should turn about as much as when you are shaking your head “no” (Approximately 30 degrees to each side). It should not be an extreme motion or cause pain, but it also shouldn’t be too small of a movement. This video was built with 4 repetitions of 60 seconds with 30 second rest breaks between repetitions.

*This exercise can also be done by nodding your head up and down, as if saying “yes” to someone rather than side to side.
