**IMPORTANT UPDATE** Thanks to you ladies sharing your knowledge, "Methosulfate" surprisingly is NOT a sulfate! Found this researching... "Generally, sulfates are only in shampoos since they are foaming agents. If you see “behentrimonium methosulfate” do not worry. This is usually used in conditioners to thicken and detangle" PHEW! GOOD TO KNOW! This means that the CANTU Curl Activator is ok!!

Another Update, there is 1 Cantu Leave In Conditioner with silicone and 1 Mielle Organics Curl Smoothie product with silicone! UGH! Bummer. CHECK ALL LABELS! Thanks for sharing everyone! Let's continue to help each other find the BEST products!

Many times brands will have a sulfate free shampoo but NOT a silicone free conditioner. Or maybe a silicone free GEL but not a silicone free leave in conditioner... you just have to READ! These are no secrets... we're literally just reading the fine print ... 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️
