Here comes a story.

About a week ago I was talking with a good friend of mine about OCs. She was like:

“Hey! How do you come up with your characters? Like, do you start with a name or backstory or smt?”
“I start with the design idea. And it mostly strikes me like a lightning. I usually improvise in few minutes. I can do it even right now. Hm.. I imagine a girl with all that soft turquoise colours, she’s all cozy-mozy with cute clothes, curly hair, kind adorable personality and stuff. She likes tea..And her name is....I don’t know...Ma-...Mu-...Minty! Yeah! Minty!”
“That’s a cute name! :D”
“Yep, she also has a huge pet cat which’s belly she rubs and so, mint grows on its back. See, nothing much, but this’s enough for a simple concept which can grow into something bigger”.
“I gotta steal that idea hahah!”
“Nooouuu! She’s my girl now!”
“Okaaay okaay jk”

Aaaand I’ve decided to draw Minty! Gotta show this artwork the friend.
