Midsummer Hill (Malvern Hills) - Worcestershire Hill Walks Malvern Hills AONB

Midsummer Hill (284m) is the 3rd major hill as I travel northwards along The Malverns, I skirt close to Hollybush Hill (242m), which is in the wooded hill, but I don't class it as a major hill as it has just a 5-10m drop between it and Midsummer Hill. The hillfort on top has prominent ditches and ramparts, and these have a small southerly extension that go around Hollybush Hill also, in thereby create the shape of a lower case "q".
The hill was given to the National Trust in 1923 by the Eastnor Castle/Park owner (Captain Reginald Somers Cocks M.C.), the rather unsightly concrete shelter is a commemoration of this gift.

A couple of drone shots were incorporated into this film, but the drone took off and landed from outside of the land controlled by The Malvern Hill Conservators, and at all times complied with CAA requirements.
