It’s like a lifeline. It reminds me that he’s still here… even while he’s going through something I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.
Most people don’t understand what it’s like behind bars.
I don’t fully understand it either.
But I know it’s heavy. I know it’s hard.
And I know he’s fighting a battle most of us will never see.
And now I hear Andre is back there too.
So free Andre. Big time.
That’s why I don’t take life lightly.
Because it could be any one of us.
At any time.
Any one of us could be under the dirt.
Any one of us could be behind bars.
Any one of us could be broke, bankrupt, or starting over from zero.
Nothing is guaranteed.
So gratitude isn’t just something I say.
It’s something I live.
Gratitude is in my actions.
It’s in starting the business.
It’s in cutting off bad habits.
It’s in choosing discipline over comfort.
It’s in showing God that I’m serious about the life He let me wake up to.
I don’t wake up grateful just in prayer.
I wake up grateful in how I move.
I show it in my sales calls.
I show it in the gym.
I show it in the work.
Not because I have to.
But because I get to.
I get to wake up.
