This video goes through the QSC Qsys LUA Ping Command.(from the Qsys extensions to LUA library) It allows you to ping a device or webpage from within a LUA script in Qsys. Ping.New creates a new object. the object:start() command starts a declared ping interval. object:start(true) does just a single ping. Then, there is an EventHandler for a successful ping, and an EventHandler for an error return. ErrorHandler.... the object:setPingInterval(10), sets a ping interval in seconds. object:stop() will then stop the ping interval.
