MU All Dolled Up, also known as Quila, is a beautiful buckskin Appendix Quarter Horse filly that has been raised at the University of Missouri’s Equine Teaching Facility. We expect this yearling's mature height to be around 15.3 hands. Quila is sure to grab attention with her floating movement, elegant neck carriage, and correct conformation. Her distinctive black and gold coloration is a subtle tribute to her Mizzou roots. Quila is an excellent prospect for a wide variety of hunt seat and western performance disciplines, including hunter under saddle, working hunter, speed events, ranch riding, and all-around events. She would also make a great recreational horse. Quila’s maternal half-sibling is an incredibly versatile horse being used for ranch, western, and english all-around events. The full sibling to Quila is now over 16 hands tall and is an outstanding hunt seat horse with big flowing strides and a quiet disposition.

MU All Dolled Up is being offered for sale in the 19th annual MU Online Horse Auction & Fundraiser. Join us for a Horse Preview and Silent Auction on Saturday, November 8, 2025, between 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 4400 E. New Haven Road, Columbia, MO 65201. Potential buyers can drop by throughout the day to personally inspect our horses. Buyers are encouraged to review each sale horse’s individual portfolio that includes pictures from birth to present, complete health records, journals describing each training session, and extended pedigree information. These sale portfolios will be posted on our auction website by November 10, 2025.

This sale is planned and produced by students in the Division of Animal Sciences, providing students with valuable real-world experiences through the training and marketing of horses and professional communication with potential buyers.
