This is a journal entry in my personal planner - I use the japanese Hobonichi Techo, so I have until April 2020 to work on this hehe (their version starts with April which is my birth month, so I like documenting my year based on my birthdate rather than 1/1)

Is it finals week? I hope you are doing well and that everything you've worked hard for will pay off soon! I can't wait for winter break, its funny because I still operate on a school schedule since I want to spend time with my sister when she's out of class. I have to stay on the east coast for an extra week because of my work schedule, so Annabelle will be going home first~

I wonder if there are any Christmas trees or decorations set up back home...or if my mom is waiting for us to come back and do it ourselves;; I can't believe it's going to be 2020 soon...this decade is ending and ???? It doesn't feel real yet.
