EVA 777 vs Cathay Pacific A350 Premium Economy

Cathay's A350 features a intimate cabin with luxurious finishes and one of the most comfortable seats in premium economy. The quiet A350 makes the journey surprisingly comfortable.
EVA's 777 cabin has been one of my favorite cabins for 16 hour long haul flights. The great service and food define how premium economy/economy experience should be. Just because you sit in smaller than business class seats does not mean service quality and catering has to suffer.
So how do these two airlines compete head to head with their best products?
