En "everything i wanted", Billie recuerda uno de sus sueños en los que ella cometía suicidio, y veía como todos sus amigos y sus fans le daban la espalda y no le tomaban importancia, además en el coro de la canción se muestra como su hermano FINNEAS la apoya siempre en sus momentos difíciles.
En cierta parte puede también cómo es que Billie tiene que lidiar con muchos problemas al estar en el mundo de la música que no es cómo ella se lo imaginó, además de lo difícil que es manejar las criticas y expectativas que los demás tienen sobre ella.

*Así que salté del puente: se refiere al Golden Gate Bridge, ubicado en California en los Estados Unidos, el cual es el segundo sitio más visitado para cometer suicidio en todo el mundo.

*Como si yo no fuera solo la hija de alguien más: Billie solo es humana, a pesar de ser una figura pública muy conocida en la actualidad, también siente dolor y se cansa, por lo tanto debe ser tratado como tal, como un ser humano.
