ProActive Manager brings together two worlds that often remain separate: 3D modeling and the systematic management of product data (bill of materials, prices, materials, and custom properties).
The goal is to reduce time, errors, and communication friction between the technical department, purchasing, and production.

Tool Objectives
The first goal of ProActive Manager is to centralize Bill of Materials (BOM) management.
This means that instead of editing data piece by piece within the model or in external files, the user has a single interface that lists all components and their properties.
The second goal is to enable massive and repeatable operations: mass updates, find & replace on codes and descriptions, rapid creation of priced BOMs, and export to spreadsheets in a format usable by other departments. Finally, the tool aims to introduce a proactive approach: anticipating data inconsistencies, flagging missing or inconsistent fields, and providing quick tools to resolve them.

Operation and Structure
The ProActive Manager interface is divided into three main panels, each with specific functions:

Left Panel - Parts Tree
Displays the hierarchical structure of the assembly. It allows you to select individual components or groups, quickly navigate between subgroups and configurations, and always have an overview of the assembly's composition.
Right Panel - Properties
This displays all the properties of the selected element. The user can quickly edit fields such as name, code, description, material, quantity, and price without opening each model individually.
Bottom Panel - Bill of Materials Grid
The central tabular view where the user can see all components and their properties. The columns are configurable and allow for bulk changes, updates, find & replace, and multiple attribute management in just a few clicks.
