If you work with a lot of colors in your code, you’ll love this VSCode extension, it’s called Color Highlight.

It literally makes your color codes show up live as you code.

And the best part? You can edit colors directly (just like editing a CSS file) anywhere in your project.

Quick pro tip if you're using Tailwind (older versions):
Tailwind often uses raw HSL values without wrapping them inside hsl(), so you can still control opacity like bg-primary/15.
But Color Highlight won’t let you edit easily unless the color is wrapped in hsl().

What I do is that I temporarily wrap the value in hsl(), tweak the color, then remove the wrapper so Tailwind’s opacity modifiers still work.

Small adjustment, big workflow win.
