DTM223 Tank carrier wreck

The 16th of December 1976 was a dramatic day for the proud Yugoslav Army. In heavy seas the crew members were forced to abandon the DTM 223 tank carrier. The cold war era did not allow any mistakes. The event was classified as top secret, and buried deep in the archives. Many years later we found the missing ship at the bottom of the Adriatic Sea. At a depth of 125m this is the deepest dived wreck on the Croatian side of the Adria till present.
