"We don't choose who we fall for"

Hi everybody!

This video is a mess but so am I so that's good. I've been feeling kinda lonely lately so I guess I just wanted to vid something depressing (even tho I decided to give this a happy ending because I'm too soft). Jim and Hannah are both tragic characters in their own way so I wanted to put them in a completely different universe (and this video is also loosely inspired by a story I've been thinking about lately).

Anyway, I'll probably vid these two again in the future, this video was just me testing some manips and getting familiar with the footage. I basically finished this in one day (after weeks of getting angry at this project and almost leaving it undone) and I quite like it. I'm mostly proud of that manip where they're laying side by side in bed, that makes me feel the feels.

This also has a storyline so here it is:
Jim and Hannah have been best friends since childhood. Hannah has a crush on him but Jim doesn't seem to notice. Since they were kids, their dream was to travel the world together and now they're both in their senior year. This is when Jim starts hanging out with the wrong people, he begins to drink and doing drugs: Hannah realizes that this group has a bad influence on him and she avoids them at school (thus avoiding Jim by association). Jim and Hannah fight one day and they stop talking for a few weeks. Jim starts to get worse. One night, Hannah is waiting for him at their usual place (she decided to give him another chance) but he doesn't show up because he's out drinking with his new friends. Hannah gets angry and tells him to "come or don't", not knowing that he overdosed. He's found on the beach and brought to the hospital. In the end, he wakes up with Hannah holding his hand.
The end.

Like I said, there's still so much to their story and I really want to explore that again.
