This video will teach you how to discern the various types of leather in order to protect your investment from natural deterioration, humidity, dirt, chemical products, stains, body moisture and other materials with which it might come into contact with.
It is necessary to identify the type of leather in order to choose the appropriate cleaner and/or repair method. A magnifying glass and water are needed for distinguishing most types.

Leather Types
Aniline Leather (Natural Leather)
Semi-Aniline Leather
Pull-Up Leather
Nubuck Leather (Aniline Leather that has been sanded to give it a fine velvety surface)
Suede Leather (Very Similar to Nubuck, Made from lower cut of the split)
Pigmented Leather (Top-coated leather ideal for furniture and automotive seats)
Two-Tone Leather (Same as "pigmented" except more than one color of pigment was used)
Bicast Leather (Completely different finishing type usually done on lesser grades of leather)
